Washington, D.C. (January 13, 2015) — McDermott+Consulting (McDermottPlus) announced today that Sheila Madhani has joined McDermottPlus as a director.
Ms. Madhani brings with her more than 10 years of experience in the areas of Medicare physician and hospital outpatient payment, Medicare quality programs, and the establishment and valuation of CPT® codes.
Prior to joining McDermottPlus, Ms. Madhani served as the assistant director of Medicare policy for the American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO), where she managed ASTRO’s payment reform initiative and the CPT editorial and RUC valuation processes on behalf of the society.
Ms. Madhani enhances McDermottPlus’ already strong reimbursement, coverage and coding capabilities by bringing years of experience navigating Medicare’s medical service coding and valuation processes. She will assist McDermottPlus’ technology and trade association clients that strive to effectively, efficiently and successfully manage Medicare and private payor reimbursement.
