Expanded Access to Virtual Care During the Pandemic

Telehealth has played a valuable role in maintaining patient access to care during the COVID-19 pandemic. Patient groups that are more likely to use telehealth include dual eligible beneficiaries, patients who previously had high rates of emergency room use and beneficiaries who previously or currently qualify for Medicare through disability.
