The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a town hall meeting on February 3, 2015 in order to discuss applications for add-on payments for new medical services and technology under the hospital inpatient prospective payment system (IPPS).
Interested parties will have the opportunity to present their comments, recommendations, and data regarding whether the FY 2016 new medical services and technologies applications meet the substantial clinical improvement criterion.
The meeting will be held at CMS headquarters in Baltimore, with the option for participants to attend via webinar. The deadline to register and submit agenda items or comments 5:00 PM, January 19, 2015.
