On March 19th, The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released the second correction notice to the 2015 Medicare Physician Fee Schedule. This correction notice applies to claims with dates of service on or after January 1, 2015, affects a number of “technical errors” in the valuation of codes throughout the fee schedule as well as budget neutrality factors and the CY2015 Conversion Factor in certain tables throughout the fee schedule. The correction notice also affects certain Physician Quality Reporting measures.
