PTAC Solicits Comments on Oncology Bundle

Comment period closes April 27, 2017

The Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) is seeking comments on the most recent proposal posted on their website: the Oncology Bundled Payment Program Using CNA-Guided Care submitted by the Hackensack Meridian Health and Cota Inc. The comment period closes April 27, 2017.

Additionally, PTAC also posted a LOI from the Renal Physicians Association for an APM for Improved Quality and Cost in Transition to End Stage Renal Disease Care. A full proposal is not yet posted on the PTAC website.

Established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), PTAC is tasked with providing comments and recommendations to CMS on physician payment models. The Committee includes 11 members who are nationally recognized for their expertise in physician-focused payment models and related delivery of care.
