MedPAC Discusses Innovation and Quality at April 2019 Public Meeting

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) is discussing a number of innovation and quality topics at their next public meeting scheduled for April 4 to 5, 2019. Topics include:

  • Expanding the use of value-based payment in Medicare
  • Medicare Shared Savings Program performance
  • Redesigning the Medicare Advantage quality bonus program
  • Options to increase the affordability of specialty drugs and biologics in Medicare Part D
