The Medicare Trustees issued a report today on the solvency of the trust fund that finances Medicare’s hospital insurance coverage and on the growth in per-Medicare enrollee cost.
The Medicare Trustees issued a report today that projected the trust fund that finances Medicare’s hospital insurance coverage will remain solvent until 2030. This remains unchanged from last year’s report. However, the Trustees did note that the growth in per-Medicare enrollee costs are at a historically low rate.
