The Financial Analyst prepares and delivers financial reports and analysis to the Firm’s expense managers and directors. This position reports directly to the Financial Planning & Analysis Senior Manager. The Financial Analyst works under general supervision and relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

 

As a Financial Analyst you will:

  • Compile financial reports and analyze variances for actual performance vs. budget and prior year
  • Budget and forecast expenditures, including operating and personnel costs, to determine financial resource requirements and anticipated variances
  • Support the maintenance of the Firm’s financial software and reporting tools
  • Develop and deliver automated and ad-hoc reports based on financial analysis reporting specifications
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve inquiries related to financial matters
  • Assist in compiling the monthly operations report for accuracy prior to distribution
  • Assist with Budgeting and Forecasting process
  • Assist with Quarterly and Annual Bank surveys

 

Job Specifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • At least one (1) year of finance or accounting experience; public accounting experience highly desirable
  • Experience supporting Information Technology groups preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • Familiarity with financial reporting software
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities
  • Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
  • Ability to learn new concepts and skills quickly
  • Ability to work collaboratively on a team
