Jamie delivers health policy and government strategies support to clients across the healthcare industry, with a focus on health service providers, value-based coalitions, and public and private payers.
Jamie provides federal legislative and regulatory analysis on a wide range of health policy issues, including delivery system reform and Medicare payment models. He helps McDermottPlus coalition clients outline and execute effective advocacy strategies by developing key talking points, strengthening member management and conducting targeted stakeholder outreach. Jamie regularly monitors Administration and congressional activity, including agency rulemaking, requests for information, legislative negotiations and bill markups, and stakeholder events.
Prior to joining McDermottPlus, Jamie supported legislative efforts in the Massachusetts State House and the US Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions. He also conducted advocacy efforts for a large national hospital system.
