The Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) is soliciting comments until November 20, 2017 on two new physician-focused payment models (PFPMs):

PTAC Submits Recommendations to the Secretary on Recently Reviewed Proposals

PTAC also recently submitted comments and recommendations to the Secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services on two proposals for PFPMs that were deliberated and voted on at its September 2017 public meeting.

Established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015 (MACRA), PTAC is tasked with providing comments and recommendations to CMS on physician payment models. The Committee includes 11 members who are nationally recognized for their expertise in physician-focused payment models and related delivery of care.
