The Physician-Focused Payment Model Technical Advisory Committee (PTAC) is soliciting comments on the Eye Care Emergency Department Avoidance (EyEDA) Model, received from the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Comments will be accepted until July 29, 2019 and should be addressed to the Designated Federal Officer for PTAC and sent by email to PTAC@hhs.gov. Comments will be posted on the PTAC website approximately one week after the public comment period closes. Members of the public may also comment on PTAC proposals at public meetings.
Established by the Medicare Access and CHIP Reauthorization Act of 2015, PTAC is tasked with providing comments and recommendations to CMS on physician payment models. The Committee includes 11 members who are nationally recognized for their expertise in physician-focused payment models and related delivery of care.
