Participants Selected for the AI Health Outcomes Challenge

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) announced the 25 participants advancing to the second stage of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Health Outcomes challenge. Participants are testing how AI solutions can predict health outcomes for use in future innovation models. The 25 participants advancing to Stage 2 of the challenge can be found here.

AI tools are used across sectors to improve efficiencies and reduce costs. Through this challenge, participants are asked to demonstrate how AI can be used to improve the quality of care and reduce avoidable hospital visits and skilled nursing facility admissions. CMS is awarding $1 million to the winning participant to test their AI design.
