Eligible clinicians that submitted 2017 Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) data through the Quality Payment Program website, can review their preliminary performance feedback. MIPS final scores and feedback will be available in July.
MIPS feedback for clinicians who participated in a MIPS Alternative Payment Model (APM) in 2017, specifically in a Medicare Shared Savings Program or Next Generation ACO, is now available to the ACO via the Quality Payment Program website.
CMS has also posted 2016 performance scores from the Physician Quality Reporting System, the legacy physician quality reporting program to MIPS. This is available for download via Data.Medicare.gov.
Finally, the 2016 performance scores for the group-level measures publicly reported as star ratings and those Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) for PQRS and non-PQRS Qualified Clinical Data Registry (QCDR) measures that met the public reporting standards have also been updated on Physician Compare public-facing profile pages. For more information about quality measures and public reporting, and a detailed list of the measures publicly available, visit the Physician Compare Initiative page.
