MedPAC to Discuss Quality at November Public Meeting

The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC) is discussing several innovation and quality topics at their next public meeting scheduled for November 7-8, 2019. Topics include:

  • Redesigning the Medicare Advantage quality bonus program: Initial modeling of a value incentive program
  • Reforming the benchmarks in the Medicare Advantage payment system
  • Restructuring Medicare Part D: Considerations for plans serving low-income beneficiaries
  • Post-acute care spending under the Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP)
