The Health Care Payment Learning and Action Network (LAN) is hosting its annual Summit on October 24th. Registration for the event can be found here and the agenda can be found here.
The Summit provides a space for all stakeholders to engage in a discussion about where payment reform is going and how to best maintain quality of care while improving clinical outcomes and patient experience. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Administrator Seema Verma is scheduled to provide the opening keynote at the Summit. Panels and discussions planned throughout the day will cover alternative payment model (APM) design, payer-provider collaboration, and person-centered care.
Launched in 2015 by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, LAN is a public-private partnership whose mission is to accelerate the health care system’s transition to APMs by aligning efforts of the private and public sectors. More information about LAN is available on their website.
