The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) published a calendar highlighting key dates for stakeholders interested in the Direct Contracting Model. The calendar highlights key deadlines and provides additional information about when the agency anticipates additional information will be released. Stakeholders and applicants are awaiting information about the financial model and other critical details that will inform ultimate participation in the model.
The Direct Contracting Model is a voluntary payment model with different tracks aimed at testing capitation in traditional Medicare.
