CMS Convenes TEP on Outpatient Outcome Measures for MIPS

The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) is convening a Technical Expert Panel (TEP) through the Yale New Haven Health Services Corporation Center for Outcome Research and Evaluation (CORE) to inform the development of outpatient outcome quality measures for the Merit-based Incentive Payment System (MIPS).


CMS is inviting a wide-range of subject matter experts including clinicians providing ambulatory care; people bringing the perspective of a healthcare consumer, acute or chronic disease patient, or family (caregiver) of an acute or a chronic disease patient; and experts in healthcare disparities, performance measurement, quality improvement, healthcare purchasers, and individuals from medical specialty societies.
