Christine analyzes quantitative data to support the formulation and implementation of legislative, regulatory, and reimbursement strategies for health services providers and medical product manufacturers. Christine also evaluates the economic impact of legislative and regulatory developments of interest to clients. Her areas of specialty include Medicare payment systems (i.e., acute inpatient, hospital outpatient department, physician services, clinical laboratory, and durable medical equipment) and issues related to coding, coverage, and reimbursement.
Prior to McDermottPlus, Christine was a manager at a business strategy and health policy consulting firm, providing quantitative analyses to help clients understand and influence health policy. She also held a position as a senior consultant at an American public consulting firm, where she performed quantitative analysis for government clients.

- Analyze Proposed and Final Rule changes to Medicare payment systems (e.g., Acute Inpatient, Physician Fee Schedule, Outpatient Prospective Payment System) and Medicare databases to evaluate client strategies and prepare public comments on clients’ behalf.
- Develop budget impact models that demonstrate the impact on hospitals and other providers of adopting use of a new product.
